As a business, we pride ourselves on delivering quality training and education to individuals, which enables them to get the job done in the most efficient and safe manner, and creates further career opportunities for them. Therefore, interacting with people, listening to their questions and concerns, and ensuring we do everything we can to support and answer them, is crucial to our business.
The most common questions we get asked are concerned with who can undertake our courses, and what they need in order to do so. With these concerns in mind, we have taken your top 5 most commonly asked questions regarding eligibility and fleshed them out in the effort to create a greater awareness and understanding around the issue.
How old do you need to be to get a forklift licence?
In order to undergo any of our forklift licence courses, you need to be 18 years or over.
Are the courses available in languages other than English?
At this stage, all of our courses are only available in English, and must be completed without an interpreter. However, we do have the option available for candidates to complete the written part of the licence assessment orally instead. In this situation, our assessor would ask you to answer the questions verbally and transcribe your answers into the paper on your behalf.
If you are concerned that you won’t understand the course and the assessment content please let us know. We can send you a sample of it so that you are able to make the most informed decision as possible prior to you paying for and commencing the course.
What forms of identification do I need to supply in order to do the course?
In order to undergo any of our courses, we require all participants to supply our accredited licence assessors with 100 points of identification at the beginning of the assessment.

Do I need a Unique Student Identifier (USI) Number?
Yes! Anyone undertaking a nationally recognised training course must have a USI. It creates a secure online record of your nationally recognised training that you can access anytime, and at any stage of your life. This means that a record of all of your qualifications gained anywhere in Australia from different registered training organisations will be kept together.
How do I get a USI Number?
Getting a USI is FREE and only takes a few minutes. We will provide you with the necessary instructions for how to do this when you book a forklift licencing course. You must bring your USI with you on the first day of the course in order to undertake it.
